The PHA owns and manages 243 units of public housing. These units are located in five scattered sites throughout the Town of Pembroke with the following addresses:

In addition to the 243 dwelling units, the PHA owns and maintains three (3) community buildings – Olivia Maynor Revels Community Building, located at 400 Locklear Street in Maynor Manor; Joel Garth Locklear Administration Building, located at 606 Lumbee Street in Locklear Court; and Clinton L. Thomas Community Building, located at 700 Roberts Avenue in Strickland Heights.

The Milton R. Hunt Building, located at 203 North Vance Street, is home to the Maintenance and Modernization Department for the Pembroke Housing Authority.

The PHA does not administer a Section 8 program. However, the county’s Section 8 provider handles referrals for service from the PHA.

The PHA is working in a collaborative effort with a non-profit corporation, Helping Hands for Progress, Inc., for the development of affordable housing in Robeson and surrounding counties.
